The vision is one of holidays in the tranquil beauty of this area and this vision is gradually taking shape here at Bush Hill Holiday Park in the glorious, picture postcard village of Flecknoe. Much hard work is ongoing to ensure that we can provide the perfect retreat from daily life, to a holiday destination that lives up to all your hopes.
There has been a dwelling on this spot since Stone Age times, a place of welcome and we intend to carry that tradition on. The whole area is rich with history and for the holiday maker, a vast choice of attractions and activities are within easy reach. Flecknoe is a delightful and highly prized village with quiet lanes and rural footpaths, leafy glades and a flourish of flora and fauna at every turn. It is close to excellent road and rail connections and has its own pub, village hall, church and cricket club. Sports and leisure activities including golf, tennis, horse riding, swimming, fishing, windsurfing and sailing are all available nearby. We are right at the heart of Warwickshire's rolling countryside, yet within easy reach of motorways, airports, major towns , the N.E.C. and the N.A.C.
In the early 19th century Bush Hill Farm suffered a fire and the thatched part of the property here was destroyed. They then built round what was left and that is what we have today. Bush Hill Farm was originally named Camp Farm because it was used as a campsite by Oliver Cromwell for the Seige Of Kenilworth.
Nowadays though, Bush Hill Farm Holiday Park is a visitor’s delight, set in beautiful gardens and given a Tourist Board 3 star rating. Our home from home atmosphere sees our guests return year after year to enjoy the hospitality, glorious area, wonderful welcome and sumptuous organic produce. Our jams are made from organic grown fruit from the garden and the eggs come from our own organic free range chickens.
